IBT develops strategic proposals and marketing plans for e-government and other government projects at both the local and national level.
Consultation and support for introducing IT in an effort to make local government operations more efficient, developing e-government bodies (e-cities, IT equipped, for example) and revitalizing local economies through the use of IT
We provide comprehensive consulting to cities and other local communities (IT cities) throughout Japan that seek economic and financial structural reform and economic revitalization, and we help implement such plans.
Support for IT launch plans
In connection with our consulting operations, IBT provides services such as consulting on the introduction of IT systems to make e-government a reality (in IT cities), support for planning to introduce IT, system design support and evaluation of IT measures and administrative information systems.

We also offer consulting on introducing IT systems and government information systems.
Studies of the next-generation Internet, local network projects and R&D-related services
IBT receives contracts from central and local government bodies on key technologies for the next-generation Internet and for R&D on fiber-optic implementation technologies. The R&D is carried out by supporting companies, universities and affiliated research institutions overseas. Our goal is to build up our skills and competencies in the specialized area of R&D as it relates to technological development.
Providing an on-line global IT incubator
IBT provides, on line, comprehensive support to overseas IT ventures on penetrating the Japanese market. In conjunction with full-scale incubation services, those efforts spell strategic support for IT ventures' growth in Japan. In addition, we also provide on-line incubation for Japanese IT companies' international operations through strategic linkages with brick-and-mortar incubators in other countries.
